If you’re a pro that has a bustling photography business with client demands, future gigs lined up, or find yourself getting behind, things become overwhelming quickly. And if you’re new to the business, or you’re looking for a way to make things easier in your studio or photography business, there is an all-in-one management software for photographers called Sprout Studio you might want to check out.
I have recently been in contact with Bryan Caporicci, Founder and host of The Sprouting Photographer podcast, to do an Exposure for Precise-Moment.com (coming soon). Bryan is a successful portrait and wedding photographer from Canada, and he certainly knows what it takes to make it in this tough business. The Sprouting Photographer is a quintessential podcast that provides invaluable advice about the business of being a professional photographer.
He mentioned his newest endeavor — Sprout Studio — and it looks like a great tool for professional photographers. It piqued my interest because I’m a firm believer that professional photography should remain a viable, and rewarding career option for emerging photographers and seasoned professionals.
Sprout Studio was announced week before WPPI and is an all-in-one photography business management software that does everything from CRM to online galleries to sales and print fulfillment. It has a lot of features, but as a pro, you need software that offers you more than just simple functions, and Sprout Studio is one that offers a lot.
It sort of reminds me of the “Quicken” for Professional Photographers, giving you the power to use it to help manage client information, track leads, and a tool to price your services correctly.
Some of the coolest features of Sprout Studio are the online gallery option and album proofing. You can create a professional gallery for your clients to let them view images, add comments, and make selections of what they want. Another powerful feature is the print fulfillment and sales options, which allows your clients to order prints and process payments via credit card.
There are plenty of other great features within the Sprout Software that I will touch on in the future. If you’re interested in becoming a user of Sprout Software, you can get on the reservation list now. The service will be $69 per month (Canadian) or $759 per year (Canadian).
You can find out more information on Sprout Software by visiting GetSproutStudio.com.
Sprout Software is currently $49 U.S. per month; or $64 CAD (Canadian) per month.
