Getting your work seen is one of the most important goals for any photographer wanting to advance their career. After all, we shoot images so that they can be seen, right? Photo competitions/contests are one of the best ways to receive exposure.
LensCulture’s Emerging Talent Awards is one of the best photo competitions that helps photographers gain exposure to the top brass in the photography community. LensCulture’s 2nd Annual Emerging Talent Awards is now open for entry, and I highly suggest entering if you would like the opportunity to advance your career and receive worldwide exposure. Past winners have been featured in media outlets like The Guardian, Rolling Stone, HuffingtonPost, and many other platforms such as museums and prestigious photo galleries.
I have been lucky to write a few articles for LensCulture.com in the past few months, which has been an amazing experience to share photographers I discover or meet, to a much bigger audience — in fact 1.4 million. LensCulture is on the pulse of cutting-edge photography and the Emerging Talent contest is open to any age, country, or style of photography.
The Grant Winners, and those who are chosen for their Top 50, will receive top exposure with photo editors, curators, gallerists, and publishers. The Grant Winners will also receive a $2,500 grant (8 total winners = $20,000 in grants), but all finalists will be placed into an exhibition, a printed annual, and given the distinction of being one of the best emerging photographers in the world.
The deadline is Tuesday, June 30, 2015, 11:59 PM PST. To enter the contest there is a $60 (USD) entrance fee; $35 (USD) if you’re a student.
